Starfish (Year 1 and 2)

Welcome to Starfish (Years 1 and 2)

Miss Lancaster teaches Years 1 and 2, providing pupils with a rich learning environment in Key Stage 1. Mrs Ames is the Assisting Teacher, Mrs Biggs and Miss Beazley are the Teaching Assistant in Starfish Class.

Term 5

In term 5 the children will continue to learn about The United Kingdom, looking at flags and national emblems as well as key features of each country found in the UK. In science, Starfish class will investigate living things with a focus on habitats and the requirements animals need to survive. This relates to our very exciting class trip that will happen this term, a visit to Wingham Wildlife Park. They will learn to write explanation texts linked to our science topic and even go on a journey with the first flight.

Keep an eye on our class blog to discover all of their incredible work.
