PE and Sport Premium
At Seabrook we believe that physical education is a vital and important part of each child's physical and emotional development. We are very committed to providing high quality PE and sport to all our pupils; which we provide through PE lessons both in school and at local sports facilities such as Three Hills Sports Centre and Hythe Swimming Pool, after school clubs and events run by the Shepway Sports Partnership.

PE Lessons
Each class has a designated PE slot each week. In addition each Friday all classes take part in a 15 minute activity which often includes a mile run along the canal path.
During Terms 1 and 2 Swordfish Class take part in one hours sporting activity at Three Hills followed by a half an hour swimming session at Hythe Swimming Pool. Jellyfish Class take part in this same activity during Terms 3 and 4.
PE Funding
Our school receives £16,000 each year from the Government for sport provision in school. To gain best value and to maximise the impact for our children we use the money for:
1. Shepway Sports Partnership - sports coaching in school, sporting events
2. Employ specialist sports coaches to deliver after school clubs
3. Provide appropriate staff training
4. Provide a good range of extra curriculum PE activities to promote pupil enjoyment and participation
